Karel – with its specific design launched to market in ear 1986 – has created electronic telephone market in Turkey and caused this market to gain PBX products and thus, has become a pioneer for Turkey when transforming from electro – mechanic systems to electronic communication systems. Upon having seen that Turkey was paying prices to the technology 23 years ago, it has believed that there were adequate manpower and economic infrastructure in Turkey. With its achievements acquired both on domestic and abroad markets, it is a leader in its area. Being one of the rare companies that could get ahead this in the sector using hundred percent domestic capital, Karel – in parallel to its vision – has been launching the technological developments to the market in an optimal conformity with the requirements of the country. The achievement of Karel is being measured with the fact that it has created a worldwide company, having competed with the world giant manufacturer companies of the countries that are in possession of developed economies in a sector where underdeveloped countries were not found, even as a user and an ample R & D power and investment, like telecommunication, is required.
